We like to think that we’re used to our fair share of glamour and drama at reflexblue HQ, but even we were intrigued when asked to launch Glow, the UK’s (or maybe the World’s) first internet-based reality show which has become an online sensation.
From being introduced to the initial concept, by production company GRTV, there wasn’t much we didn’t do for Season 1.
We designed the brand, developed the website and app, filmed and edited every episode as well as managed the full marketing campaign including the production of a 2017 Glow calendar and the organisation of a music event with artists from the show.
Love or hate reality tv, the response to the show has been overwhelming with people watching from almost every single country across the globe including The U.S.A, Spain, Australia and even Korea. The first season was streamed more than 500,000 times which is groundbreaking for an independent online series and shows the strength of our campaign.
Our strategy also secured an unprecedented amount of media interest in the show which secured it’s audience. For instance, stories which we released appeared 3 times in Glasgow Live’s Top 10 Most Read Stories of 2016, including number 1!
